Terms and conditions of sale and use

1. Purpose
These terms govern consumer access to the Black Room simulator and subscriptions to Black Room Pro. The service is provided by Paul Lamoulen EI. The applicable version is the one accepted when the order is placed.
2. Nature of the service
Black Room is a blackjack simulation and practice tool. It offers no real-money deposits, withdrawals, wagers or winnings. Its analysis is educational: it does not guarantee casino results and is neither financial advice nor an encouragement to gamble.
3. Access and minimum age
Accounts are restricted to adults. Each account is personal and may not be shared, resold or used through automated means. Users must provide an accurate email address and protect their credentials.
4. Free and Pro plans
The free version includes the game and may display ads. Black Room Pro removes ads and unlocks full analysis, charts, history and the twenty metrics shown on the subscription page.
5. Price and payment
Black Room Pro is available for $4.99 per month or $29.99 per year, in US dollars. Applicable taxes are calculated at checkout. Recurring payments are processed by Stripe. Black Room does not store full card details. The customer authorizes each recurring charge until cancellation.
6. Term, renewal and cancellation
The monthly plan renews every month and the yearly plan every year. Customers may cancel at any time from the Cancel my subscription. Cancellation prevents the next renewal. Unless mandatory law provides otherwise, Pro remains available until the end of the paid period and no prorated refund is issued for a period already started.
7. Right of withdrawal
Consumers generally have fourteen days from subscription to exercise their right of withdrawal. By requesting immediate Pro access before that period ends, they acknowledge that performance begins immediately. A withdrawal after service starts is handled under applicable mandatory rules and, where relevant, in proportion to service already provided. A request can be prepared on the Exercise my right of withdrawal.
8. Availability and conformity
Black Room uses reasonable measures to maintain service availability and security. Temporary interruptions may occur for maintenance, security, updates or force majeure. This does not limit statutory conformity warranties for digital content and services or other mandatory consumer rights.
9. Prohibited use and suspension
Fraud, bypassing Pro access, mass account sharing, service extraction, attacks on infrastructure and any unlawful use are prohibited. In the event of a serious breach or security risk, access may be suspended proportionately, with prior notice where circumstances permit.
10. Liability
Black Room is not liable for losses related to external gambling or decisions based solely on the simulator. Within the limits permitted by law, liability covers direct and foreseeable damage attributable to the service. Nothing limits statutory consumer rights, compensation for personal injury, or liability for gross negligence or intentional misconduct.
11. Changes to the service and prices
Features may change to improve or secure the service without unfairly reducing acquired rights. Any price change applies only to a future renewal after prior notice allowing the customer to cancel before it takes effect.

13. Complaints, mediation and governing law
Complaints must first be sent to plamoulen.webflow@gmail.com. French law applies without depriving consumers of mandatory protections in their country of residence. The competent courts are those designated by the legal rules applicable to consumers.
